You will have a strong horticultural background with exceptional communication skills and sound organisational and time management abilities. You will be willing to embrace new technologies in relation to streamlining operations and ensuring efficiencies.We are seeking passionate applicants that have a budding desire to contribute Council's sports fields, parks and reserves.You are accountable to complete work schedules and be responsible for the high standard expected within the City of Unley’s community.To succeed in this role, you will have:      Certificate III Sports Turf Management or higher or/and Certificate III            Horticulture or higher or relevant experience in a similar role.      Experience in the preparing and maintaining playing surfaces for a               variety of sports to a high standard including irrigation systems.      Operate and maintain turf maintenance equipment and machinery                safely and efficiently.      Experience in turf wicket preparation and renovations.     This role will undertake maintenance of the overall facility which                    includes garden maintenance.      Demonstrated horticultural knowledge      Experience in the safe application of chemical sprays for effective pest,          weed, and disease control.      Understanding and complying with all health, safety, and risk                       management policies and procedures, ensuring personal actions do not       impact the health and safety of others, and keep updated with relevant         legislation and regulations. The extrasThe role offers outstanding conditions of employment and benefits that are designed to attract and retain the best people.
